“The Goal is to Keep the Goal the Goal” I saw this quote and immediately identified with it. Right now Josh and I both have high expectations for our next powerlifting meet (100% RAW in March), but sometimes the day in and day out can get monotonous. That is when you have to remind yourself why you are doing the tough, no glory workouts – so you can have a great performance on game day.
We have been doing Wendler’s 5-3-1 routine and 6 weeks into it I have no complaints. It’s tough putting the ego aside and doing hard, heavy reps but I have faith that it will pay off in the end. We are slowly getting done with the easy part of the routine and I’m looking forward to the heavier more challenging sets.
